To mark this occasion, Locman created a collection of five models, united by a blue lacquered dial featuring the Amerigo Vespucci logo and the Italian Navy’s jack. The image of the Training Ship is set within a world map, symbolising travel and knowledge.
The third model in the collection is the Amerigo Vespucci Island Ref. 613. Its robust and reliable 316L stainless-steel case reflects the quality standards that have always defined Locman. It houses a quartz time-only movement with a date display, combining everyday functionality with the collection’s distinctive maritime inspiration.
The most precious and exclusive model is the Locman Amerigo Vespucci Montecristo Ref. 535, produced in a limited series of only 92 pieces to celebrate the 92nd anniversary of the ship’s construction. During the 2023–2025 World Tour, number zero of the watch will be displayed in the ship’s officers’ wardroom. The Amerigo Vespucci Montecristo Ref. 537 shares the same case and dial design, while housing a Sellita SW200 three-hand automatic movement with 26 jewels and stop-seconds function.
