MARE MARINA MILITARE New Model

The Locman Group presents Mare-Marina Militare Italiana, the new model of the Marina Militare Italiana (Italian Navy) brand.

Hereby, the Locman Group stresses once again its strong tie with the sea by launching a new diver’s watch for the Italian Navy brand. After the TESEO TESEI line, the Mare-Marina Militare Italiana model is born, a watch realized on the basis of an extremely advanced construction design patented by the Locman Group, that combines high-quality mechanisms and heavy-duty materials, such as carbon fibre and titanium.

Locman Italy is, in fact, the only watchmaker industry throughout the world that is in a position to create, through a specific patented production process, cases in carbon fibre through a specific patented production process. For Locman’s engineers it is an audacious challenge, above all because its application scope concentrates on an extremely small and complex surface as a watch’s surface is. The Locman team succeeded in manipulating carbon fibre in order to create a texture with extraordinary features: very light, hard, and above all extremely resistant. The material thus obtained is as incisive as only diamond can be.

Mare-Marina Militare Italiana is a chronograph with a quartz movement. This model, with its remarkable size, presents a round case realized in carbon fibre and titanium. Light, ultra-resistant, but warm at touch, recalling the softness and sensuality of platinum, titanium is also used for the bezel, pushers, knurled crown and case-back which is fastened to the case by four screws.

The carbon dial shows white printed bar-shaped markers and Arabic numerals at 2 and 4. The sweeping-second counter is positioned at 6 , while the chrono minute counter is at 12 hours. The window date display is, as usually, placed at 3 and surrounded by the white enameled “Locman Italy” logo. At 9 there is a broad space for the emblem of the Italian Navy, which is neatly defined and seems almost a miniature. The Italian nationality of the section and the whole watchmaker house is emphasized by a white-red-green motive bordering a part of the chronograph counter and the military pennant, thus strongly influencing the overall design.

The strap in black cordura is personalized by the white hand-stitched writing “Marina Militare” and is equipped with a tongue buckle in titanium with the engraved Locman logo.

Water resistant to 10 atm, the Mare-Marina Militare Italiana model is also available in the version with a blue enameled dial and strap in blue cordura.
