ONGOING COOPERATION BETWEEN LOCMAN ITALY AND AERONAUTICA MILITARE

As of today it will be possible to admire the new Tremila-Aeronautica Militare line in a special analog-digital version in the finest jeweller’s around Italy: 3000 exclusive watches designed to meet the specific demands of extreme aeronautical use, including stunning aerobatics. Tremila-Aeronautica Militare watches are in fact part of a wider-scale project that will see the Locman Group cooperating with all wings of the Italian armed forces in creating exclusive dedicated editions. The Tremila-Aeronautica Militare is far more than just a watch: it is a genuine analog-digital wrist instrument equipped with all essential airborne navigating functions, including UTC (Universal Time Coordinated) indication, the reference time zone from which all the world’s other time zones are calculated – world time display, digital chronograph, analog chronometer and alarm. Cutting-edge technologies are associated with ultra-resistant and ultra-light materials such as titanium, carbon, steel and rubber, all of which are in widespread use within the aeronautical field. Designed as a seamless wristband, this model features original lines, based around a stainless steel case fitted within a single-piece perforated strap in state-of-the-art non-allergenic rubber. The strap is secured to the steel watch structure by two screwed lugs at 12 and 6 o’clock. The case also features two pushbutton bearer plates on either side, screwed in at 3 and 9 o’clock. The titanium back is held to the case by four screws. The rugged reliability of the Tremila is complemented by the scratch-resistant glass that is one with the case. The dial is distinguished by its vertical deflector on which the seconds stamped in Arabic numerals and the “Aeronautica Militare” inscription are clearly visible through the glass with its magnifying effect. Available in carbon or enamelled versions, the dial features applied hour-markers and the Locman signature instead of the usual number 1 at 12 o’clock. Digital display windows appear at 12 and 6 o’clock, while the Aeronautica Militare Italian symbol, designed to look almost like a miniature painting, is stamped at 3 o’clock. The larger than usual hands ensure optimal visibility, even in extreme situations. Tremila-Aeronautica Militare is available in three versions: in blue or black with steel and titanium case, integrated steel inserts at 12 and 6 o’clock with laser-printed Locman Italy logo, enamelled dial and rubber strap, or in another black version with carbon dial and inserts. Each model is issued in a limited edition of 100 with its series number inscribed on the back.
